YOUTH OF THE YEAR
Jordan Klein

Park Avenue Synagogue

Jordan Klein is a ninth grader who has been active at Park Avenue Synagogue since his early elementary school years. After becoming a bar mitzvah in eighth grade, he became one of the volunteer Torah readers at the synagogue. He joined the teen program, where he has participated
in weekly classes with the rabbi, as well as volunteer opportunities with the food pantry, the midnight run and mitzvah day. This year, Jordan served as the teen chair for the synagogue Shabbaton, contributing to program planning and execution.

In addition to his involvement in PAS, Jordan enjoys being a member of BBYO where he is part of the Teen Giving Circle, a group of high school students who get together, learn about the allocations process of philanthropy and give out their own money to organizations that are important to the group.

Jordan attends Beacon High School where he is a member of the Model UN and the Boys Tennis Team. In the winter, he is an enthusiastic alpine ski racer. This summer, Jordan will travel to Israel with the Koby Mandel Foundation and NJY Camps. Support Jordan Klein by placing an ad in his honor.
