REGIONAL MAN OF THE YEAR 2026

REGIONAL MAN OF THE YEAR 2026

Warren Berkowitz is an attorney at Law, with an additional degree in Accounting. He is also a retired Chief Executive Officer of a very successful manufacturing and development importing company. Although he has personally developed hundreds of products, he is most proud of developing a long relationship with his wife, Randi. They have been happily married for over forty five years. Together they have produced three wonderful children Barry, Scott and Jill. The family has expanded with the addition of our daughters-in-law Alexandra and Erica and our son in-law David. Dividends have paid off with the blessing of seven grandchildren. On a personal level, he is an author of two books and is an amateur Magician.
Warren has served as Treasurer, Third Vice-President, Second Vice-President, First Vice President and ultimately the Congregational President of the East Meadow Jewish Center. He is currently the Financial Secretary of the East Meadow Beth El Jewish Center. He also was The Chairman of the Board and President of the East Meadow Beth El Jewish Center Men’s Club. He is most proud of the fund raising and programming initiatives that he chaired in his Synagogue. He produced such creative programs as a mock cruise to the “Island of Jew-Maica” featuring a live steel band and the “Meshugana Mardi Gras Party “. He continues to provide programming including casino nights with “human” horse racing and “Name that Tune” Nights. On a ritual level, he occasionally leads both Shacharit and Musaf Shabbot services at East Meadow.
As discussed above, Warren is committed to ritual and social success of not only the Synagogue but also all Jewish institutions. He is involved with the Federation of Men’s Clubs, with the hope that he can reach out and encourage each local club to maximize membership and participation. As Second Vice-President of the Metro region, he has published a programming guide that offers over forty nine programming contacts and ideas. He has been available to run and suggest any program that a club might want to produce. His philosophy is that the more a member is excited to participate in the Synagogue, the more the Synagogue will thrive and grow.
He is honored to be named the Regional Man of the Year for the Metro Region of the Federation of Men’s Clubs.
